Current academic program or career:
I have been an undergraduate teacher at a liberal arts college, and now I am running a research program to show where and when all genes are expressed during embryonic development of a vertebrate model system. We don't know much about many genes yet, but with the genome sequenced, we now have the ability to ask what tissues express these genes as a first step to characterizing them. |
